The RVPCC has been in existence since October 1984. We support all PC users with
emphasis in MS DOS and MS Windows. The purpose of the club is to bring together people
interested in computers for mutual benefit and pleasure. Our members range from beginners
to computer professionals. A monthly newsletter created in 
Microsoft
Publisher is sent to all members each month.
Meetings are comprised of a short business session after which members have an
opportunity to attend special interest presentations, make copies of shareware, or
converse with special interest group leaders.
We have 40+ computers at the meeting site. We support the goals of the Software
Publishers Association and do not allow the copying of commercial software.

ORIGINAL CHARTER
1.1 The Name of this Organization shall be ROANOKE VALLEY PERSONAL
COMPUTER CLUB, hereafter referred to as the "RVPCC".
1.2 The sole purpose of the RVPCC is to promote computer literacy and
to advance the understanding of computer hardware and software in particular that of
computers using MS-DOS Systems.
1.3 Disclaimer: The Programs on the club's disks are made available to
the members as a copy service only. In no event will the RVPCC be liable for any damages
arising out of the use of these programs by anyone, even if the RVPCC has been advised of
the possibility of such damage.
